It feels like things can’t get worse for Amanda Batula in terms of public image. But the Summer House star hit another low this week after a small business owner called her out for some questionable actions.
Her decision to date Ciara Miller’s ex had major ramifications in the public eye. Prior to their romance confirmation, Amanda had a lot of support since splitting from Kyle Cooke. But now, the whole institution of Amanda Batula is in question. Nothing that is airing on the current episodes of Summer House is painting the veteran cast member in a positive light. And there is more to ask about now.
The Summer House star is under fire
A Twitter post called out the questionable behavior. A user going simply by “m” posted a message from the small business owner to @pumptinis. There is also a screenshot of Amanda sipping from a mug adorned with a painting of one of her dogs.
“For clarity, early on, I sent Amanda some free pieces and her repost was great exposure, she was so supportive which meant a lot as a small business,” the message began.
It continued, “About a year later, we chatted and I sent wheel thrown, hand-painted mugs- I truly love making them especially when I feel like it’s appreciated! She said they never arrived, and after that communication fully dropped off. I followed up a few times and even offered to resend but hear nothing.”
Amanda has admitted to having her estranged husband answer her emails. So just to play devil’s advocate, perhaps they never reached the intended target.
“Yesterday, I was sent a video of her using those mugs in a live interview from January. When you’re a small business, that time, effort, and cost really matters!” the message concluded.
The X user put it bluntly, “So Amanda’s also a thief from small-businesses.” Well, it was probably strategic to put this up on X rather than Instagram. The reality TV star is taking a break from the medium these days.
