Dancing with the Stars finalist Robert Irwin has said dating is “challenging to navigate”
In a recent interview, Robert told the New York Times that what you see is what you get with him. “I never change what I say, what I do, who I am one bit, wherever I am,” he said. He added that he has “no persona to hide behind … It’s just me, and I stand by who I am.”
When asked how he felt about dating in the public eye, he admitted it’s not easy. “Holy moly, that’s so challenging to navigate,” he said. “Anything you do will be on TikTok the next day.”
During last week’s DWTS episode, Robert danced with Season 32 winner Xochitl Gomez. Because they made such a cute couple on the dance floor, fans speculated what their status might be off the floor.
When asked if they were seeing each other, Robert dodged the question.
“Oh my gosh, we had the best time,” Robert told TMZ. “That dance was so much fun … The dance with Xochitl … was just like energy and fun. She’s the best, it’s been really, really great.”
