King Charles feels it’s ‘unfortunate’ ex-Prince Andrew’s photos resurfaced in news, claims expert

Ex-Prince Andrew’s recent public appearances have drawn renewed scrutiny, with royal experts suggesting the development is causing concern within the monarchy. According to The Mirror, Andrew attempted to engage Prince William in conversation after unexpectedly arriving at the Duchess of Kent’s funeral in September. However, the Prince of Wales is said not to have responded during the brief encounter.

In the weeks following the service, Andrew gave up his remaining royal titles and honors in what has been described as a ten-minute phone call with a “weary and furious” Charles. Sources said that since facing renewed turmoil last month, the former duke has spent most of his time at Royal Lodge, allegedly “wandering around” the property and “ranting to himself.” He was also photographed looking downcast while riding with a companion on the Windsor estate. Images of this moment have since circulated widely in the press.

Body language analyst Judi James believed the former prince’s visible shift in demeanour could be intentional rather than purely emotional. She assessed his recent outing as “almost theatrical,” suggesting it may represent a strategic shift, while acknowledging he “could of course be feeling understandably sad.”

Meanwhile, former royal correspondent Jennie Bond said the renewed focus on the former prince is likely unwelcome at the palace. She explained that Charles would consider it “unfortunate” that photographs of Andrew have reappeared in the media. Bond added that “it would obviously be much better if Andrew were seen doing something for charity.” However, she noted his association remained “so toxic” that many organizations have distanced themselves.
