Sister Wives’ Kody Brown is the father of 18 children. Sadly, he doesn’t have much of a relationship with most of those kids.
While his only remaining wife Robyn Brown blames those strained relationships on their respective moms, Kody believes he’s tried.
Now in response to a video Kody made claiming that he “reaches out to his children.” Leon tells a much different story.
Kody Brown’s child Leon has called the Sister Wives star a “liar”
In the most recent episode, Kody considered therapy to help him reconcile with his older kids. “I’ve got to work on on me,” he said in a confessional. “I’m angry about what a lot of the kids have said, done and believed. But I’ve also got to have the tools to be able to engage … [I have to put] feelings aside and [invite] them to step into a space where we can communicate safely and lovingly.”
But Kody’s warm sentiments regarding his children didn’t sit well with Leon. Sadly, they’ve seen a much different side of their dad. Leon struck back at Kody’s comments.
“Taking a break from my social media hiatus to say one thing,” Leon posted on Instagram. “There’s a ridiculous video of my father circulating where he says he reaches out to his children — let me be so f*cking clear: I have not heard from that man since my brother killed himself.” Tragically, the death of Leon’s brother Garrison Brown by suicide rocked the entire family last year.
“Kody blatantly blew me off at Garrisons funeral,” Leon reported. “He is a liar. he is a joke of a father. That’s all.”
Meanwhile, Kody says he’s open to reconciliation. “The door will always be open to [my children],” he continued. “They’ve got to come through that door. I’m going to be holding a hand out for that. But I’m [also] going to be holding this hand that’s next to me [Robyn], and I won’t let go of that hand … I will not cut off Robyn to have a relationship with my children.”
