The relationship between Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour appears to be all sunshine and rainbows. That’s what the actress believes after the Stranger Things co-stars were all smiles during a promotional event for the fifth and final season of the show.
There’s been widespread speculation of bad blood between the two for some time. That’s because Millie reports surfaced that the actress previously filed bullying and harassment complaints against the Emmy Award nominee.
Any animosity the two may have had appears to be in the rearview mirror.

Audiences may have thought their smiles were a façade, but for Millie, that was 100% genuine. Their dedication to their craft and to Stranger Things has created some unbreakable bonds. “I mean, we have always been united in that,” Millie told The Hollywood Reporter. She adds that they love the show and value their friendship “more than anything.”
Many people weren’t buying the chumminess between them at a premiere for the upcoming season. A body language expert described Millie and David’s interaction as “overkill.” There were pages of accusations, according to a source about alleged bullying filed by Millie last year. An investigation into the matter followed for months.
Whether it was an act or not, there were no signs of resentment between the pair on the red carpet this month. The mother of one even went so far as to praise David to reporters, saying she is “lucky to know him.”
Stranger Things executive producer Shawn Levy dismissed reports of tensions and disrespect on set as wildly inaccurate. He says they view the cast and crew as family.
The first four episodes of the final season of Stranger Things are available to stream now. Three more episodes will be released on Netflix on Christmas Day. The series finale is set for New Year’s Eve.
