Millie Bobby Brown, who previously revealed that her real name was not Bobby but Bonnie, has now revealed that she has made a decision to make a major change to her name and will now go by something entirely different. This comes a year after she married Jake Bongiovi.
Millie Bobby Brown brought a change in her name
Millie Bobby Brown recently appeared in the first volume of Stranger Things season 5, and is slated to return for the remainder of the anticipated season. But this may end up being her final credit under the name – Millie Bobby Brown. Previously, the actress had already revealed that Millie Bobby Brown was not her real name. Instead, it was Millie Bonnie Brown, and she changed her middle name for “S*** and giggles.”
She seemingly changed her name once again.
In an interview with VT, alongside Stranger Things star Noah Schnapp, the Stranger Things actress revealed her name change. Schnapp was asked to say Millie’s full name, but he got it wrong a few times.
He said Millie Bonnie Brown at first, but she said things changed. Schnapp said Millie Bonnie Brown Bongiovi in response to this, but it turned out to be wrong, too. Next, Schnapp guessed Millie Bonnie Bobby Bongiovi Brown. This rather hilarious name was wrong, as well.
“Drop the Bobby, drop the Brown,” she finally revealed, “It’s just Millie Bonnie Bongiovi.” She added, referring to the repeated sound in her name, that she can now go by “Millie Bon Bon.”
Either way, this seems to be a big change, and her fans will need some time to adjust to this. Stranger Things season 5 may end up being the final credit in the name of Millie Bobby Brown, then. And going forward, the actress may use her new name.
Stranger Things season 5 volume 2 will premiere on December 25, 2025, followed by a finale on December 31, 2025.
