Gomez, who won Season 32 of the dancing competition show, sparked dating rumors with Irwin last month. The rumors began after they partnered up in Week 9 of DWTS during the series’ 20th birthday celebration.

Irwin’s post has received 658,706 likes as of writing. It also received positive comments from fans and colleagues who wished him a happy birthday.
Xochitl Gomez wished Irwin in the comments, writing, “Happy b day.” Fans replied to Gomez’s comment, speculating about her and Irwin’s rumored romance.
Robert Irwin and Xochitl Gomez sparked romance rumors last month after they performed a jive to Olly Murs’ “Dance With Me Tonight” in Week 9 during the relay round of DWTS’ 20th Anniversary episode. The pair competed against Alix Earle and Season 33 winner Joey Graziadei.
While judging their performance, Derek Hough highlighted the pair’s chemistry, which they laughed at. However, Witney Carson, who was by their side, and Bindi Irwin, who was in the audience, smirked, which fans picked up on, speculating that they knew something about Irwin and Gomez’s dynamic.
One day after the episode aired, TMZ asked Irwin if he and the Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness star were an “item.” The latter neither denied nor confirmed their romance and instead looked back on their dance, saying they had “the best time.” He added that their dance had “energy and fun” and praised Gomez, calling her “the best.” The outlet tried pressing on, asking Irwin if he and Gomez were just friends or dating, only to be ignored.
Later, before the DWTS Season 34 finale, Gomez was spotted hanging out with Irwin, for whom she got a bouquet. She also reportedly spent time with Irwin’s family (via TMZ). Following the finale, Gomez and Irwin were seen sharing a hug, and the latter reportedly told the former he would see her again, further fueling speculation about their romance (via People).
However, Gomez told Jan Ravnick and Brandon Armstrong that she was single in a DWTS livestream before the finale.
