The Real Housewives franchise is experiencing a terrible tragedy. A motorcycle crash Down Under has taken the life of a 61-year-old man. The victim was the ex-husband of an iconic former castmate of The Real Housewives of Melbourne.
The tragedy took place on Thursday morning on the Calder Freeway in Melbourne. The deceased shared a 29-year-old son with the RHOMelbourne alum. He was also a grandfather. Word of his death has left his loved ones devastated.
Gina Liano paid tribute to ex-husband Cameron Reyntjes after his death
Gina Liano was often in the middle of drama on television. Sadly, she’s dealing with some of her own since the death of Cameron Reyntjes was confirmed. She and Cameron were together for 15 years, with their marriage lasting for close to a decade.
In an interview with the Herald Sun, Gina said that Cameron “was very loved.” She says that she “started going out with him (Cameron) when (my other son) Christos was one, so he helped me raise both boys.” Gina and Cameron’s family are reeling from this news.
Following the incident on Thursday, passers-by performed CPR, but sadly, he died at the scene in Keilor North. Police in Victoria are currently investigating the matter. Preliminary reports suggest that Cameron fell off his motorbike with no other vehicles involved. Some areas of the Calder Freeway were closed for a while yesterday following the crash.
According to Gina, Cameron was a gym enthusiast who previously had heart complications before undergoing open heart surgery. In addition to his kids, he leaves behind a partner of nearly 10 years named Paula.
Gina was one of the original cast members on RHOMelbourne, appearing on the show for its first four seasons. Many regard her as one of the most memorable stars of the international franchise. She was known for her crispy tan and big hair, while never afraid to get involved in heated arguments.
Rumor has it she will return to Real Housewives of Melbourne for the series reboot next year.
