Melania Trump Loves Being Addressed as the ‘Queen’ — Source

It seems a touch of royal flair may be drifting through the halls of the White House, at least according to one insider’s claims. Melania Trump, long known for her polished composure and guarded mystique, is reportedly warming to a nickname that elevates her image from first lady to something a bit more crown-worthy.

Melania Trump has a new nickname that’s very royal, says source

A new report from celebrity columnist Rob Shuter has ignited buzz about Melania Trump’s demeanor inside the White House. According to Shuter, who cites a longtime insider familiar with daily operations, some staff members have taken to referring to the first lady as “Queen Melania.” The source stressed that staffers use the nickname affectionately, not critically. Interestingly, though, they claim Melania has responded to it with understated approval.

Shuter’s insider alleges that the moniker began circulating casually during informal moments. Eventually, it became an inside joke among certain staff members. The source described Melania as giving a subtle smile when the title is used, suggesting she finds the royal comparison flattering.

One aide even claimed that someone once teased, “Your Majesty, lighting is ready,” during a photoshoot, and that Melania answered with what the insider described as the “most royally perfect nod.”

Shuter’s reporting paints a picture of a first lady who has grown increasingly comfortable commanding a room, even in lighthearted ways. The source went so far as to say that some staffers jokingly refer to her poised attitude as the “Regal Chill.” They added that the atmosphere shifts when she walks in.

Outside the nickname gossip, Melania Trump has been making headlines for more official reasons. On Monday, she revealed the 2025 White House Christmas decorations, themed “Home Is Where the Heart Is.” This year’s display includes nods to America’s upcoming 250th anniversary and a special tribute to Gold Star families. With the East Wing currently demolished to make way for a ballroom, the Gold Star tree — traditionally displayed there — has temporarily moved to the Blue Room.
