Kim Kardashian recently discussed how Kanye West hurt her and became emotional while discussing the 2016 Paris robbery she was a victim of. She said in a new episode of The Kardashians that her ex-husband’s claim that the robbery was “faked” hurt her. The robbery took place during the 2016 Paris Fashion Week. Thieves broke into Kardashian’s hotel room, tied her up, held her at gunpoint, and stole jewelry worth over $10 million. Earlier this year, Kardashian testified at the trial of 10 suspects involved in the robbery. Eight of the suspects were convicted, and two of them were acquitted.

In the latest episode of The Kardashians, Kim Kardashian cried while addressing people doubtful about whether the 2016 Paris robbery occurred. She called out her ex-husband, Kanye West, recalling how the latter’s claim to the public that the robbery was “faked” for her TV show was “a knife to [her] heart.”
“Just to think that someone wouldn’t believe you — that’s so close to you, that should know you, that should know how much that affected your life — it just really bothered me,” she added. “You don’t know who I am.”
Kardashian then touched upon her experience testifying at the trial of 10 suspects involved in robbing her earlier this year. She said that going to trial, facing the suspects, and hearing their accounts of the incident and apologies was enough to prove her doubters wrong. The SKIMS founder added, “I’m happy that it’s over.”
Also in the episode, Kardashian recalled saying a prayer when the robbers entered her hotel room at midnight. The model said in her testimony, “I was sure I was going to be raped.”
Additionally, the 45-year-old opened up about her mindset leading up to her testimony. “This was less than 10 minutes of my life. I’ve lived an amazing life,” she shared. “That’s always given me a little bit of peace, just to know — what was it? 8, 9 minutes? — of pure terror and panic aren’t going to ruin me.”
Previously, in a 2023 episode of The Kardashians, Kardashian admitted she was glad the robbery happened to her instead of her sisters. She stressed that if the robbery happened to any of her sisters, it would ruin them for life.
