Mandy Moore and Hilary Duff ushered in the holiday season with a magical night out for their children. On Monday, Dec. 8, Moore, 41, shared a series of Instagram Stories capturing her family’s visit to Holiday Road, held at the scenic King Gillette Ranch in Calabasas, California. Moore posted a sweet snapshot of her kids posing alongside Duff’s children and a few mutual friends.

“Just over here trying to make some core memories for these kiddos,” Mandy Moore wrote as she tagged Hilary Duff, 38. The latter later reposted the picture, sharing the moment with her own followers.
Moore and her husband, Taylor Goldsmith, have steadily expanded their family over the past several years. The couple tied the knot in 2018 and welcomed their first child, son August “Gus” Harrison, in February 2021. Their second son, Oscar “Ozzie” Bennett, arrived in October 2022, officially making Gus a big brother.
In September 2024, the family grew once again with the arrival of daughter Louise “Lou” Everett. This holiday outing marks one of the first festive seasons Moore and Goldsmith are celebrating as a family of five.
Hilary Duff also brings a blended family to the festivities. The Lizzie McGuire actress welcomed her oldest child, son Luca Cruz, 13, with her ex-husband, Mike Comrie, in 2012. With her husband, musician Matthew Koma, whom she married in 2019, she welcomed daughters Banks Violet in 2018 and Mae James in 2021.
In December 2023, Duff announced she was expecting her fourth child, and baby Townes joined the family in May 2024. Moreover, the How I Met Your Father alumna recently celebrated her daughter Banks’ seventh birthday with a lively backyard party complete with bounce houses, water balloons, slides, and plenty of sunshine.
Sharing photos of Banks in a blue two-piece swimsuit, Duff called her daughter a “joyful Scorpio tornado.” She also praised her as a “sweet, charming angel” who loves to dance, read, sing, and cartwheel.
