There may be a little trouble in paradise for Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster. The Tony Award-winning actress apparently doesn’t like seeing her boyfriend fraternizing with other females. A source claims that Sutton “doesn’t trust” the Wolverine actor.
Hugh and Sutton have been revealed as an official couple only this year. Hugh’s divorce from Deborra-Lee Furness was made official in June. The two had been separated since 2023. Sutton, it seems, is keeping a close watch on the females Hugh is interacting with and may be particularly suspicious of one Kate Hudson.

Hugh’s loyalty to making his current relationship work is being questioned, supposedly by Sutton. An insider revealed to RadarOnline that “She (Sutton) knows better than anyone that he can’t always be trusted around the people he works with.”
Her boyfriend is involved in an upcoming movie with Kate called Song Sung Blue. The two have thus been seeing a lot of each other to get into character. Kate appears to be the touchy-feely type, which Sutton doesn’t seem to approve of. “Kate is flirty by nature. She’s warm, touchy. People get swept up,” revealed an insider. Kate is currently engaged to Danny Fujikawa.
A theatre source claims that Sutton is extremely protective of her relationship with Hugh. After divorcing Deborra-Lee, his ex-wife posted a cryptic message online questioning how faithful Hugh was. She hinted that he was not loyal during their time together.
Despite speculation about distrust between Hugh and Sutton, there are reports that the two could be taking a big step forward in their relationship. Rumor has it they are engaged but cannot go public with that news just yet.
Earlier this year, Sutton portrayed herself in the one-night-only Broadway show starring Trisha Paytas. Hugh and Kate’s film Song Sung Blue comes out in theatres across the United States on Christmas Day.
