Would it be Christmas without a little bit of family drama? The York princesses are apparently facing the age-old festive dilemma: where to spend the big day. Princess Beatrice is reportedly particularly torn about the holidays. An insider says she’s not sure whether to spend Christmas with the royal family or her dad, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

Given his dramatic ousting from the royal family recently, it’s not a huge surprise that the former Prince Andrew isn’t spending Christmas at the palace.
But that leaves daughters Beatrice and Princess Eugenie in a tricky spot – do they enjoy vol-au-vents with the rest of the royals, or have a low-key celebration with their dad?
An insider told the Daily Mail that Beatrice is feeling the pressure of the “tug-of-love.” She wants to stay loyal to her uncle, King Charles, but doesn’t want to abandon her disgraced dad either. She is apparently also considering staying at home in the Cotswolds with her family and mom Sarah Ferguson.
The source revealed: “It falls to the princesses to soothe family divisions. They are struggling with Christmas. Beatrice is feeling particularly under pressure as she feels she has to be in three places at once on Christmas Day.”
The insider continued: “She also felt compelled to spend one final Christmas at Royal Lodge with her father, despite his fall from grace over the [Jeffrey] Epstein scandal.”
The former prince was given the boot from Royal Lodge in October. He is reportedly moving into his new home on the Sandringham Estate early next year.
Eugenie, on the other hand, has a bit of a get out of jail free card. She’s built a new life in Portugal with husband Jack Brooksbank, and and “is so settled there, far from all the drama,” the source noted.
