The two shared a screen back in 2015 in the musical comedy, and now, years later, Wilson, a mother of a daughter, has offered some guidance to the “Sinners” actress as she prepares for motherhood.

During the world premiere of Cirque Du Soleil LUDÕ at VidantaWorld in Mexico on December 12, Rebel Wilson spoke to People and discussed Hailee Steinfeld’s exciting news. While the actor praised her former co-star, calling her “so talented,” she also acknowledged the challenge of balancing a thriving career with becoming a first-time mom.
Wilson said, “It is hard because she’s got an amazing career as an actress, so I’m sure she’ll be a working mom as well. And it is really, really tricky.” Wilson further emphasized getting professional help early on, adding, “…we did have a great baby nanny at first… when you’re a new parent, you don’t even know anything about feeding and sleep schedules and anything. So to bring in a professional just at the start is a really good thing.”
Steinfeld announced her big news about expecting her first baby with husband Josh Allen on December 12 via her Substack newsletter. She shared a video clip that featured a roundup of her favorite moments from the past year, including the couple standing in the snow, Allen kissing the actress’s baby bump, and the couple holding hands beside a tiny snowman. The duo later posted the same video on their Instagram.
Meanwhile, Wilson is also celebrating a growing family as her wife, Agruma, revealed that she is pregnant with the couple’s second child. The couple shares a daughter, Royce Lillian Elizabeth Wilson, born via surrogacy.
