The documentary mini-series Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour: The End of an Era premiered two episodes on December 12, 2025. In one of the debut episodes, she speaks with Travis Kelce on the phone before performing at Wembley Stadium. The NFL star wasn’t in attendance at the concert because he was busy with practice.

The 35-year-old is heard saying “I love you” to her soon-to-be husband, followed by a flirty question. She asks him, “Why do you have to be in the NFL?” Comparing both their professional lives, she further reveals that they both do basically the same job.

Agreeing to her point, Kelce replies, “You got teammates, I got teammates.” Swift then adds, “You’ve got Coach Reid, I’ve got…my mom.” They then share a hearty laugh before the football tight end appreciates Swift for making his life better. Following this, she says, “I know, this was like — some people get a vitamin drip. I got this conversation.”

On December 14, the Kansas City Chiefs lost to the Los Angeles Chargers by a score of 16–13, officially eliminating them from playoff contention. The 36-year-old was visibly disappointed. After their loss, he didn’t even wait to address the media and went straight into the locker room. Kelce stopped all the reporters’ questions with just a brief comment before heading inside. He said, “It’s not the time. I’ll catch you guys during the week.”
