Some haunting words previously made by Nick Reiner are coming to light. The second-oldest son of Michele and Rob Reiner had some frightening things to say about his demeanour in an old interview, with some suggesting he may have been a bit of a loose cannon.
Knowing what allegedly happened over the weekend and rewatching the interview is sure to give you chills. Nick is in custody following the stabbing deaths of Michele and the When Harry Met Sally director. He’s facing charges of first-degree murder stemming from Sunday’s incident.
Nick Reiner warned, “You don’t want to set me off”

An interview from 2016 is painting Rob’s accused killer in an even more negative light. In a conversation with Access Hollywood, Nick admitted that He “gets crazy,” adding, “You don’t want to set me off.” While Rob burst out laughing at the time, people rewatching it today may see it as foreshadowing.
Rob and Nick apparently had a heated argument on Saturday while attending a Conan O’Brien Christmas party. The following day, his parents were discovered dead at their home in Brentwood. Nick was arrested and is in custody without bail.
The interview featuring Nick and Rob was conducted to promote the movie Being Charlie, with the screenplay written by Nick and the latter directing. During the interview, Rob called his son “fiery,” prompting Nick to admit that he was “emotional.” He went on to refer to himself as a “nutcase.” The movie depicts a troubled drug addict, something that probably hit home for Nick. He’s admitted to battling drug addiction in the past.
With Nick soon to face trial for his alleged crimes, he hired famed criminal defense attorney Alan Jackson. According to the Los Angeles District Attorney, Nathan Hochman Nick could be looking at life in prison or possibly the death penalty if convicted. He was due to be arraigned on Tuesday, but his lawyer says he hadn’t been medically cleared to go to court.
