This Is When Robert Irwin Feels ‘Closest’ to Late Dad Steve Irwin

Robert Irwin made a splash with his recent appearance on the Season 1 Finale episode of Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce, which aired on YouTube. The wildlife conservationist and “Dancing with the Stars” Champion talked about a lot of things from his life, including some simply spicy moments, his favorite dance hooks, and some of the most emotional moments he has ever shared with his family and his late dad, Steve Irwin

During this interview, Robert looked back at the viral moments from his winning season of Dancing with the Stars. He shared how he “bawled” with his mom and sister, Bindi, in his trailer after the show. Robert also talked about the keys to being an incredible “funcle.” This is when Robert shared a rather heartwarming story about his Cinderella TikTok and visit to Australia Zoo with his niece Grace.

Robert recalled how growing up with Jenny, the Burmese Python, was one of his favorite parts. He opened up about moments spent with his dad and admitted how crocodiles are his way to feel closer to him. He said, “I feel closest to my dad when I’m in there with his crocodiles, and I’m feeding them.” He added that Kylie is welcome to try feeding crocodiles with him, from a safe distance.

Robert shares how he loves that he and his family still feed the same crocodiles that his father did, and how this part of his life always helps him with his grief journey. This is why he still spends time with the crocodiles to show people how beautiful these creatures are, following his dad’s footsteps. No wonder fans thought it was one of the most fun and emotional episodes of this season!
