A former colleague exposed Nick Reiner’s private Instagram account. The son of Rob and Michele Reiner is accused of his parents’ murders. He is being held in jail and denied bond.
The couple’s middle son’s last Instagram post was dated November 28, 2017. His siblings Jake and Romy are reportedly still following him on social media.
A former coworker of Nick Reiner’s revealed the account

Along with the last post, Page Six uncovered Nick’s Instagram account screenshots. A post in Havana, Cuba from November 28, 2017 showed him being choked jokingly by a man. The adjacent caption read, “Cuban choke slam.”
Less than a year later, in an April 28, 2018 photo, the filmmaker is sitting on a wooden bench wearing a tan cowboy hat and smiling half-heartedly.
Following a stint in rehab, Nick interned on Family Guy for approximately three to six months. At this time, he was sober, but not seen as a hard worker. “His father helped him get the gig,” explains the colleague who provided the screenshots.
During this period, Rob drove Nick to and from work each day. “This was part of his path to recovery,” the coworker explained, “His whole identity was being sober.”
Nick has a “dark sense of humor” and is considered the black sheep of his family, the source said. The addiction created an aura of darkness around the troubled son. “When you have addiction and mental health, there is room for emotional murders,” said the coworker. “He was a troubled kid from a young age and had issues. But that’s not the Nick I knew.”
All in all, Nick’s addiction struggles were well known among those who knew the Reiners. This led to tension within the family, as Nick was homeless on and off throughout the years.
Rob and Michele’s daughter Romy found her parents dead in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles on Sunday, December 14. Nick is being held without bail. He faces life in prison or the death penalty if convicted.
