Adam Peaty and Holly Ramsay officially tied the knot on December 27, 2025. The wedding ceremony was held at the Abbey Church of Saint Peter and Saint Paul in England. After the wedding, the Olympic champion changed his name to Adam Ramsay Peaty on Instagram. While the bride’s parents, Gordon Ramsay and Tana Ramsay, were present at the wedding, the swimmer’s parents did not attend their son’s big day.
This was reportedly due to an ongoing family rift. Amid this situation, Peaty’s decision to change his name after the wedding has further fueled speculation.
Adam Peaty changes Instagram profile name after marrying Holly Ramsay
After tying the knot with Holly Ramsay, Adam Peaty took to Instagram to change his name to Adam Ramsay Peaty. The wedding was a star-studded ceremony, with about 200 guests in attendance. The wedding ceremony in England was attended by several celebrities, including Victoria Beckham and David Beckham.
However, the groom’s parents, Caroline Peaty and Mark Peaty, were absent from their son’s special day. According to The Sun, the 59-year-old chef praised how stunning Holly looked and told Adam that he was a “lucky man.” Meanwhile, the Olympic swimmer reportedly expressed gratitude to the 200 guests present for standing by him and supporting him through a “difficult time,” subtly referencing his ongoing family feud.
If reports are accurate, the rift is believed to have begun when Adam’s mother, Caroline, did not receive an invitation to the couple’s grand pre-nuptial celebrations at Soho Farmhouse.
Adam and Holly reportedly met in 2021 through his sister, Tilly. Their romance quickly grew stronger, and the 25-year-old influencer announced their engagement in September 2024. She shared the news on Instagram, writing: “I am marrying my best friend. I truly cannot put into words how I am feeling right now.”
Even Adam shared a separate heartfelt post, saying he is the “luckiest man on earth to have such a gentle, caring and beautiful woman” by his side.
