Stefon Diggs is facing physical abuse allegations as his team prepares for its final regular-season game this weekend.
Money appears to have been the issue between Cardi B’s boyfriend and his former personal chef. The chef claims the four-time Pro Bowl receiver slapped and choked her.
An alleged salary dispute led to the serious allegations against Stefon
Stefon may be earning some big bucks in Greater Boston, but apparently, he wasn’t keen to reward his chef for her services. The female employee went to the police on December 16 to report the alleged incident between her and Stefon. She claims that he entered her unlocked bedroom to discuss a text exchange about money she believed he owed her. Stefon joined the Patriots in March on a three-year deal worth $63.5 million.
During the chat, things, according to her, got ugly with the former Buffalo Bill. She says he smacked her across the face before allegedly strangling her. It was then that she reports that he tightened his grip on her. The woman says he got violent, reportedly throwing her onto the bed. Despite the high tensions, she said she insisted she was owed money, something Stefon apparently didn’t believe.
The woman claimed to have redness on her upper chest area from the incident but did not take any pictures. Reportedly, she was hesitant to come forward because of Stefon’s celebrity status. This isn’t the first time Stefon has been plagued by an alleged scandal. A male influencer in November alleged sexual battery against the NFL star.
She says that after the supposed incident, she stopped working as his chef. According to her, she was hired as his chef for the 2025 season and was initially paid weekly for her work. That apparently switched to a monthly salary, though she alleges she did not receive a month’s pay at the time of the reported incident.
Stefon’s attorney, David Meier, called these reports against his client unsubstantiated.
