Donald Trump made more concerning comments while answering reporters’ questions at his Mar-a-Lago resort this week.
Trump mixed up insane asylums with political ones. The question came up after US drones reportedly struck a facility in Venezuela. The President claimed Venezuela had sent hundreds of thousands of people from jails and insane asylums, among other places. He added that the drug dealers and drug lords were all sent to the US. He was welcoming Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to his resort during the interviews.
Donald Trump’s critics have called him “dumber than a rock”
For a long time, there has been a public perception that Donald isn’t mentally fit to run the country. His chat with the media on Venezuela has people more than ever believing he might belong in a loony bin. When the video of his comments was posted online by journalist Aaron Rupar, one person commented that Donald was “Like a rock, only dumber.”
It isn’t just reporters and celebrities who believe the President is not all there in the head. California Governor Gavin Newsom said in November that he believed Donald was “not mentally well.”
Donald’s remarks this week come amid his ongoing crusade against the South American nation, including attacks against alleged drug boats. On Boxing Day, the President said they blasted a big facility in Venezuela. On Monday, Donald refused to confirm whether the strike was executed by the CIA. He did say, however, that he knew exactly who it was.
The fact that the President has reportedly had more than one cognitive test administered is something the likes of Jimmy Kimmel say warrants concern. Donald has dismissed speculation that he is not mentally stable, going so far as to publicly bash some people online who make that suggestion. He’s said that all the cognitive exams he’s taken he has aced.
TELL US – WERE THE PRESIDENT’S CONFUSING COMMENTS ABOUT INSANE AND POLITICAL ASYLUMS CAUSE FOR CONTINUED CONCERN?
