Their relationship started soon after Gerber ended a three‑year romance with Austin Butler, post which she spoke about her growth on the “Therapuss” podcast, saying, “A lot is being healed in this [healthy] relationship.” Moreover, she said, “I really feel like if you have the opportunity to date a friend, do it. It’s just so much better.”
Gerber opened up further about her dating history, explaining she “always dated people that were older than me” and often changed parts of herself to fit those relationships. She added, “Then you start to bring a little bit more of who you really are into the relationship and they’re like, ‘No, I like that person before.’”
Additionally, Pullman came into this relationship after dating Rainey Qualley for several years. Both he and Gerber have continued to balance their work schedules while keeping their personal life as private as possible.
Gerber’s parents, Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, joined the trip, as they do most years, with Rande even sharing a rare throwback footage of his children dancing as kids, writing, “Forever grateful for moments like these. Happy New Year!”
