Charissa Thompson shared a carousel on Instagram on New Year’s Eve, celebrating what she called an “unforgettable” year. Among work snapshots, family moments, and photos of her beloved pets was a surprise photograph. The previously unseen picture was from a March getaway that she, Erin Andrews, their husbands, and Travis Kelce took with Swift during the NFL offseason.
The photo is believed to have been taken during the group’s Montana trip. It showed Swift bundled up in a colorful winter jacket, sitting on a green snow tube. Thompson and Andrews flanked her on their own tubes, all three appearing relaxed and smiling as they took a break from sliding down the slopes. While Swift and Kelce didn’t post the tubing moment themselves, Thompson’s year-end highlights offered fans a rare peek into the private vacation the group reportedly kept quiet at the time to respect the couple’s privacy.
In the post, Thompson reflected on the joy and loss that shaped her year. She captioned the montage with gratitude and a nod to OneRepublic’s “I Lived,” the song playing over her video. Not to mention, Kelce showed his support by liking the post.
During a July episode of her podcast “Calm Down with Erin and Charissa,” Thompson recalled the Montana trip, telling the audience Swift was “everything she hoped and more.” Later, on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon,” she and Andrews have long joked that they have been “advocating” for Swift to give Kelce “the chance” after he mentioned attempting to pass his number to her at an Eras Tour show in 2023. Thompson repeated that their playful suggestion worked out.
Kelce previously shared a few photos from the same getaway in a July Instagram roundup documenting his offseason adventures. Notably, it was the first time he posted Swift on his grid since they began dating in 2023.
