A new viral video showed Donald Trump noticeably walking with a limp on New Year’s Eve. He and his wife, Melania, were heading to a media address at Mar-a-Lago, a property the President has owned for years.
It was evident to many that Donald was dragging his right leg as he exited his vehicle. That has led to fresh concerns about his health. That is something many in the media are debating and have been since he began his second term as President last year.
President Trump’s health remains a hot topic of conversation
Rumors about Trump’s declining health are making headlines once again. It’s a hot and prominent topic on the minds of many. When the video of the President walking came out, people noticed him dragging his right leg before adjusting upon realizing cameras were on him.
Most of the health concerns surrounding the President had been about his mental state. He revealed in October that he’d undergone an MRI. Donald has said that, in his second term in office, he has aced any cognitive exams he’s been subject to. Reports of his numerous dementia tests have caught the attention of celebrities. Late-night comedian Jimmy Kimmel said it is concerning knowing the Commander-in-Chief has been subject to numerous tests.
The President’s doctor, Navy Captain Sean Barbabella, said Donald agreed to meet with staff and soldiers at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in October. Sean says to make the most of his time there, he recommends that Donald undergo a physical evaluation. This was to ensure optimal health. Reports indicate the scans and tests revealed no problems for the President.
Trump’s public image, however, seems to contradict what his medical team shared in October. He’s been seen with band-aids or caked-on makeup in the past. His press secretary says his hand can get bruised from all the handshaking he does regularly. In a July report, Sean said the President was in excellent health.
