Trisha Paytas talks about joining Congress
Paytas took to YouTube to share a video titled “2026 Manifestations,” where she expressed her desire to run for a U.S. House of Representatives seat in California. She said, “I know, it sounds so crazy to me, too, but I think it’s like so doable. Watch the podcast tomorrow, and I’ll go more into detail about it, but I really would love to run for the House of Representatives. Here in California, we have 52, and I would really love to run with it. They have an election this year, November 3rd, 2026, and I do have some bills I would like to present to Congress. So, I’m working on that.”
The media personality further explained, “I really want to be able to truly make a difference because I see so much horrible stuff happening in the world — and happening right here in California as well.” She revealed that she wholeheartedly wants to put in all her efforts into making this true and hopes to give back to the community.
Later, in a TikTok video, she revealed how the idea of pursuing a political path got into her head. She acknowledges that she never saw herself as a political person, but since becoming a mother and seeing the bad things happening around the world, she has felt the need to stop being ignorant and take action. Paytas engaged Moses Hacmon in 2020, and they married the following year. They are now parents to three kids: Malibu Barbie, Elvis, and Aquaman.
