Jessie Cave of “Harry Potter” fame has made a bizarre revelation about her OnlyFans income. She confirmed that she earned more by creating content on the adult platform in one year than she did throughout her acting career. In a recent interview, the 39-year-old actor and comedian opened up about the struggles that motivated her to open an OnlyFans account and why she ultimately decided to continue with the profession.
Jessie Cave reveals her OnlyFans earning and that it beats her acting career
While speaking to The Sunday Times, Cave provided considerable insight on the financial side of things in her career as an adult content creator.
“I’ve earned more, easily, than my entire acting career within one year,” Jessie Cave, who portrayed Lavender Brown in the last three Harry Potter movies, stated.
“I thought I’d make five grand, be on it for a few months and it would buy me time to work out what we’re going to do. But it’s now been over a year and a half, and it’s genuinely saved our lives,” the actress remarked.
Cave, who kickstarted her OnlyFans stint last year, revealed that she was able to earn £15,000, or approximately $20,000, in a single day on the platform. Her earnings mainly come from the $6-a-month subscription fee she charges from her followers, with “paid-for messages” costing extra.
“I couldn’t go and, say, work in a supermarket because I can’t afford the childcare, and also I don’t want people shouting ‘Harry Potter’ spells at me as I work at Tesco,” Jessie Cave noted. She continued, “I could retrain, but I can’t afford to do a degree. I had a breakdown, and I thought, that’s it with acting, I give up. But also, we have no money. For so long I’ve just been this quirky figure. After having four kids and feeling invisible for so long, that was really appealing to me.”
Despite having left Hogwarts long ago, Jessie Cave disclosed that she still slips into her “Harry Potter” character on occasion for her content.
