Bill Hader and Ali Wong have ended their relationship after over two years of dating, according to a source speaking to PEOPLE. The couple, who went public in April 2023, had previously dated briefly in the fall of 2022 before rekindling their relationship. “It was too difficult to make the relationship work with Ali’s upcoming stand up tour and Bill’s various film and tv projects this year,” the source said. Reps for both Hader and Wong did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
Despite the breakup, the source noted that the split was amicable: “They are very much friends and still in touch.” The insider added, “They’re focusing on their work and kids, while continuing to support and root for each other.” The couple previously appeared together at several public events, including the 2024 Golden Globes and the premiere of Peacock’s Laid in December 2024.
Speculation about the couple’s relationship status began after Wong attended the 2025 Golden Globes alone and did not mention Hader in her acceptance speech.
