Ukraine Olympic gold medalist Oksana Baiul has accused her ex-husband, Carlo Farina, of harassment. The former couple settled their divorce on October 6 after a contentious period of negotiations.
Carlo filed for divorce on June 26, asking for sole custody of their daughter, Sophia, 11. The two married in 2012, with the filing listing the date of separation as November 2022.
Oksana Baiul accused ex-husband Carlo Farina of manipulation and harassment

According to Us Weekly, Oksana has accused Carlo of attempting to manipulate her weeks prior to reaching a divorce settlement. She also accused him of being “psychologically abusive” towards her and Sophia. Oksana says home camera footage shows Carlo “demeaning and silencing her.”
Oksana claims that, on August 29, Carlo violated a court order requiring the parties not to harass each other. She points to an August 22 “lengthy text message” in which her ex “harassed, demeaned, belittled, attacked and attempted to manipulate” her. Oksana then ordered Carlo to be forced to appear in court for an explanation. She said he also declined an order to turn over a 2020 Mercedes, as well as a list of all items he removed from their home.
In July 2025 court documents, Oksana reports that Carlo moved into a $1.2 million Las Vegas condo he purchased after removing the items. “Farina’s removal of community property from the family and matrimonial residence has been willful and deliberate, and constitutes contempt which has caused hardship and further damage to Baiul,” according to her lawyer’s court documents.
An October 2025 agreement stated Carlo would have primary custody of Sophia and can move from Louisiana to Las Vegas. If their daughter agreed, Oksana could visit her. As part of this agreement, Oksana must enroll in anger management classes and submit to alcohol and drug testing.
In addition to payment from the home sale proceeds and splitting an investment account, Carlo would pay out $100,000 to the Olympian in a lump sum and another $150,000 paid out over five years. Neither party will pay child or spousal support.
Last August, Oksana denied Carlo’s allegations of alcohol abuse and compulsive lying. Her filing asked to be awarded joint legal and physical custody of Sophia.
