The rumors that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are on the brink of a divorce are on the rise right now. The speculations arose after Harry reportedly left his wife and kids at home shortly before Christmas and went on a boys’ skiing trip.
Recent reports also suggest that Harry and Markle are expected to visit the UK. However, not all looks good for the couple, as, according to a royal expert, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have “deeply divided priorities.” The expert also noted that Harry doesn’t really “fit” into Markle’s spotlight-driven world.

It seems like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have very different priorities at the moment and are trying to navigate these challenges. As per Richard Fitzwilliams, a royal commentator, Harry is more inclined to do things in the UK, whereas his wife is apparently more interested in building her new life in California.
The royal commentator told the Mirror, “They appear to have deeply divided priorities and needs at the moment.” He continued, “Harry clearly wants to do more in the UK and rebuild a relationship with his father, while Meghan is focused on her business.”
Even though they have different priorities at this time, the royal commentator noted that the couple are “committed” to each other “emotionally.” However, the constant media attention and “outside noise” make it very stressful and overwhelming for their relationship.
However, Harry reportedly pays no heed to such rumors and mentioned during a book event in 2024 that he chooses to ignore these divorce speculations. So while the royal couple are “in love and committed to their marriage,” as the royal source noted, they are still moving on different paths, especially with respect to Britain.
As per Fitzwilliams, if Harry does decide to return to the country with his wife and children, a place that Markle clearly doesn’t want to appear in, it could worsen any difficulties between them.
