Bravo’s Big New Reality Show Earns Low Viewership Numbers

Another Bravo show is getting criticized online for its low viewership. This time, it’s The Valley: Persian Style. The two-part series premiere, which aired on January 8, failed to crack 300,000 live viewers, earning a 0.04 rating in the 18-49 demographic. It’s not quite the blockbuster launch anyone had in mind, but we think there’s probably more to the story.

The Valley: Persian Style could be doing better streaming on Peacock

While Bravo hasn’t released any streaming numbers for The Valley: Persian Style, other new shows like Next Gen NYC were similarly dragged online for low ratings, only for the network to later reveal major numbers from Peacock and other sources.

Another example is the reboot of Vanderpump Rules. They hit a series low in their live ratings. However, once all of the data rolled in, Bravo revealed it reached 2.6 million viewers across all platforms. It was the network’s biggest show in 2025, so The Valley: Persian Style could very well follow suit.

It’s also worth pointing out that The Valley: Persian Style faced some big competition on its premiere night. The episodes aired at the same time that Peacock dropped the premiere of Season 4 of The Traitors. It’s probably safe to assume that a chunk of viewers were busy watching that three-episode premiere, saving the Shahs of Sunset reboot for another night. There’s only so much TV you can watch in one night!

With all things considered, fans shouldn’t be too concerned. Plus, the last time people speculated about live ratings, Andy Cohen jumped in, calling them just a small piece of a much larger picture.

The Valley: Persian Style airs on Bravo every Thursday at 9/8c. You can stream it on Peacock.
