Justin & Hailey Bieber Handling TikToker’s ‘Abuse’ Claims Like This — Report

Justin and Hailey Bieber have dealt with a lot of online chatter about their marriage over the years, and now, a new report claims that they have decided to answer the latest “abuse” claims from a TikToker with lawyers. The couple’s attorney, Evan Spiegel, reportedly sent TikTok creator Julie Theis a cease-and-desist letter over her posts about the Biebers’ marriage.

TMZ exclusively reported that Justin and Hailey Bieber’s letter claims that the TikToker shared “outrageous false, fabricated, and defamatory” statements, including content that alleged their marriage involved abuse and drug addiction. Moreover, the tabloid reported that the letter calls the claims “highly damaging.”

The publication claimed that the letter demands that Theis remove the videos in question and “permanently stop” posting content that suggests the Biebers are in an abusive relationship. Theis addressed the situation online this week. She claimed that she received the cease-and-desist from their legal team and shared her response in a statement to the outlet, raising concerns about intimidation and free speech.

The TikToker told TMZ, “It’s extremely elitist to try to silence opinions just because you disagree. Disagreement is not defamation.” Meanwhile, she also claimed she has received death threats since the situation began.

Theis had reportedly framed her videos as commentary, and then Hailey allegedly reposted one of the videos. However, the Rhode founder denied doing it. TMZ reported that it reached out to Bieber’s team but had not heard back.

Even so, if what sources claim is true, Justin and Hailey want the TikToker’s content accusing “abuse” in their marriage pulled and hope that the conversation shuts down. On the other hand, however, Theis stands firm and says she plans to stand by her right to speak. The fight has moved beyond social media drama and into legal territory, and neither of the two sides seems ready to back off.
