As per Rob Shuter’s #NaughtyButNice on Substack, insiders say that Jennifer Lopez recently kicked off her “Up All Night” residency at Resorts World with a show that J.Lo invited her ex’s kids to. And although the move shows how connected their lives still are, Affleck and Jennifer Garner are not exactly comfortable.
A source told Shuter, “She invited Ben’s kids,” adding, “Despite everything they’ve been through, they’re still a family unit in many ways.” The source claimed, “Jennifer genuinely cares about the kids, and Ben appreciates that — but Ben and Jennifer Garner aren’t exactly thrilled by how wild the show is.”
Another insider said that while the relationships remain warm, the setting created some tension. They claimed, “She’s still very close with Ben’s kids. They reunited over the holidays, but some of the show’s more provocative moments made both Ben and Jennifer Garner uncomfortable. It’s a lot for them to take in.”
On one hand, the report suggests they recognize the bond Lopez has built with the kids. On the other hand, a flashy Vegas residency with adult themes can feel like a lot for kids. Hence, it is reportedly a dilemma for Affleck and Garner.
