Things between Nicki Minaj and an independent journalist are getting extremely personal. The Queen of Rap is firing shots at Don Lemon as the feud between them escalates. Nicki has uttered a homophobic slur against him.
It’s another chapter in the ugly war that Nicki has had. The Anaconda singer took issue with Don’s livestream on Sunday. A service at a church in St. Paul, Minnesota, was interrupted in protest against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). The agents of ICE are under scrutiny since the murder of Renee Good earlier this year by members of the organization. She had been deemed a domestic terrorist by Donald Trump’s administration.
Nicki Minaj wants Don Lemon “in jail”
Nicki is calling for the former CNN journalist to face severe consequences for his stream on Sunday. On X the rapper called him “Don ‘C*ck sucking’ Lemon.” She added, “I want that thug in jail.” Don is openly gay, marrying real estate agent Tim Malone in 2024. Don’s time at CNN ended in 2023, reportedly because of low ratings.
Nicki’s comments come as no surprise to Don. He tells TMZ that she’s weighing in on “matters that are above her capacity,” according to him. The Pink Friday artist seems to be in the middle of heated rivalries. She was said to be shocked by the hate SZA was giving her. Nicki claims to have no connection to her.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt has said that Trump will not tolerate intimidation and harassment of Christians in their sacred places of worship. She says they’ll be looking into what she called the despicable incident from Sunday.
Nicki has been a strong supporter of Trump, particularly during his second term.
