Ruby Rose is the latest celebrity to call out Nicki Minaj, amid her embrace of the MAGA movement. Just this week, journalist Don Lemon and comedian D. L. Hughley criticized the rapper for making homophobic comments towards Don. The feud between the pair started over Nicki’s defence of ICE during demonstrations in Minnesota, even though Nicki previously said she was undocumented.
Ruby, who is a lesbian and gender neutral, also had some choice words for Nicki. The Australian actor took to the threads about their experience working alongside the rapper. Ruby appeared as an opener on Nicki’s 2012 Pink Friday: Reloaded Tour.

“I toured with Nicki Minaj. Her ego is so outsized she HAD to fire someone after every show,” Ruby wrote on Threads, in a reply to a post about Nicki’s tweets directed at Don.
Ruby recalled one incident of alleged divadom. “Publicly, because she is 3 ft maga. On night one she fired the security for not seamlessly carrying her from the stage – because she went to jump off several bars early.”
In another accusation, the actor and model claimed the musician was also lying about her age, as they apparently learned on tour.
“The 3rd night was best,” Ruby added. “We were all going to get fired. Because it was her birthday, and well … Someone on her team had organized a bunch of her friends and celebrities to do a happy birthday montage video.”
“So kind! Only problem was – Of the dozen or so video messages that came in, not one had her age ‘right’. And now her real age had been leaked.”
Ruby then alleged there are more stories about the controversial star. “I could go on, but I’m waiting for her next outburst.”
