The Olympic torch relay is a famous tradition held every year just before the big showcase events. Ahead of the opening ceremonies next month, Connor and Hudson have been selected as torchbearers.
They will be among those carrying the torch on February 6, the opening ceremony date. It’s one of the many appearances the two have made since the first season of Heated Rivalry came out last year. Both actors were on hand to present an award at the Golden Globes earlier this month.
Hudson, meanwhile, recently appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. Connor was a guest of NBC’s Late Night with Seth Meyers. People have been following those on the program it seems wherever they go. There is speculation that Connor and François Arnaud may be dating in real life. François plays Scott Hunter on the show and, in real life, is bisexual. On the show, François’s character has a secret relationship with a barista named Kip.
Heated Rivalry has earned the respect of the hockey world with the series trailer played in December ahead of an NHL game between the Montreal Canadiens and Tampa Bay Lightning. A second season of the show has been confirmed, though there is no release date yet.
The Olympics will run from February 6 to 22nd.
