Jaime King’s second husband, Austin Sosa, has reportedly begun the legal process to end their marriage. While information about when the couple tied the knot is not available, it was previously reported in July that King and Sosa were engaged.
In fact, the Black Summer actress’s representative expressed that she is “grateful” for her fans’ support. Amid this news, their divorce comes as quite a shock. While the reason for the alleged split is not yet clear, rumors had previously speculated that something might be going on between King and hotelier Vikram Chatwal, as the two were reportedly spotted together in Los Angeles.
Jaime King’s husband Austin Sosa filed for divorce, per court docs
Jaime King and Austin Sosa’s relationship appears to be in deep trouble. While their wedding date is not available online, earlier PEOPLE reported that the actor’s representative said that she was “especially happy to share this moment with her children, who have a loving bond with Austin and his family.”
The representative continued, “As always, her sons remain her top priority, and she kindly asks for privacy as they move forward together with love and gratitude.” However, things have now taken a different turn, because, as reported by TMZ, Jaime King’s second husband, Austin Sosa, has filed for divorce.
Meanwhile, the court documents obtained by PEOPLE state that the divorce was filed on Thursday, January 22. As of now, the reason for their separation is not known. However, there were recent reports linking Jaime to hotelier Vikram Chatwal.
Page Six reported that the actor and hotel owner were spotted in Los Angeles. According to the reports, they shared affectionate moments at Chateau Marmont, sparking dating speculations.
However, the White Chicks actor has reportedly denied the allegations. She insisted that she was with Chatwal in Los Angeles solely due to professional work.
King was previously married to Kyle Newman, and the couple parted ways in 2023. They share two kids, James Knight and Leo Thames. King doesn’t have any kids with Sosa.
