Meghan Markle reportedly wanted a reunion photograph of her children with King Charles. However, even if one had been taken, it would never have been made public, according to a royal expert. The much-awaited family reunion between the Sussexes and Charles finally took place on Friday afternoon, July 10.

Although reports suggest the Sussexes had hoped for a photograph to mark the long-awaited reunion, no pictures were released. According to the royal expert, even if a photograph had been taken, it would never have been made public.

Meghan Markle’s demand of King Charles’ photo with her kids could never be made public, per expert

According to a royal commentator, Meghan Markle wanted a picture of the reunion with King Charles, but her request was denied. Recently, host JJ Anisiobi was joined by royal commentator Sarah Hewson on an episode of Daily Expresso.

The two discussed Prince Harry and Markle’s family meeting with Charles and Queen Camilla, which took place on Friday afternoon. The Sussexes were accompanied by their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, as they visited Highgrove House, the King’s private country residence in Gloucestershire. The meeting was reportedly kept under tight secrecy, with even Prince William and Kate Middleton not attending the family reunion.

During one part of the segment, Anisiobi said he had been told that the Duchess was eager to have a photograph of her children with their grandfather. He added that such a picture would have signaled that the Sussexes were still part of the royal world, but claimed that Markle did not get the photograph.

He further said that even if the picture had been taken, it would never have been made public. Hewson agreed, saying there was no chance the public would ever see such a photograph, even if one existed.

Earlier, Rob Shuter reported that while Markle had requested a photograph, the request was allegedly denied. According to the report, the Palace declined the request, believing the photograph could later be used as a “royal endorsement.”
