At the tail end of Below Deck Mediterranean Season 10, Kizzi Kitchener had an epiphany. And now, she’s engaged to Tom Whiteley, the same man she ended things with during filming. So, now that Kizzi is taken by a man other than Joe Bradley, are she and Joe at least still cordial? Likewise, where does Kizzi currently stand with Victoria SanJuan?
This season, Kizzi was on a quest to kiss as many yachties as she could. Joe was, for a time, at the top of her list. However, Joe had already promised V a post-filming trip to meet his mum. But promises be damned, Joe owed V nothing, and so on.
So, Joe and Kizzi gave in to their urges with a kiss or two, which pretty much shattered Kizzi and V’s friendship, and also, whatever was happening between V and Joe. Was it all worth it? Nope. Well, maybe for Kizzi, because now she knows what she wants, or so we hope.
Either way, here’s what’s happened in Kizzi’s life and relationships, both during and after filming on Below Deck Med Season 10.
Kizzi made a shocking realization on the Below Deck Med Season 10 finale
In Episode 1, Kizzi lightly flirted with several men on her cast. As she explained, she loves “playing with” boys. Proving her point, she next texted three red hearts to someone named Tommy, her “gentleman at home.” Once the men on her cast learned about Tom, however, they mostly backed away.
Kizzi hated that, though. So, in Episode 6, she called Tom, admitting, “I just wanna kiss someone.” Naturally, Tom grew upset, arguing, “That is such a mad message to receive.” By the end of their call, they had broken up, and Kizzi was crying, saying, “I f*cking hate boys.”
Once she and Tom were no more, Kizzi quipped, “The drama starts now.” She next joked about starting a “kissing BINGO card” to track how many different yachties she could kiss during Season 10. But, sure enough, one by one, Kizzi did exactly what she set out to do. By the finale episode, she had kissed EVERYONE on her cast, minus Josh Bingham.
But after her final kiss with Joe, Kizzi realized that she was “actually in love” with her ex-boyfriend, Tom. But at least, as she expressed, she could now return home to him without feeling any lingering “what if” thoughts.
Kizzi and her ex Tom are now engaged post-filming
Once Kizzi left the yacht, she headed home to her rugby-playing ex, Tom. Now, we don’t know how their initial chats went. However, we do know that things ultimately landed in Kizzi’s favor, because last November, Kizzi posted a sweet collage with Tom. And within her posted collection, we learned about their recent engagement.
The pair had been enjoying a romantic vacation in Paris, complete with white wine and macarons. Then, one day, as seen in Kizzi’s featured image, they took a side quest to a Parisian photo booth. And when they sat cuddled together in this booth, Tom pulled out something else for Kizzi to enjoy: an engagement ring. Beaming, Kizzi accepted his ask.
“With love, from Paris,” Kizzi penned in her caption. And then she headed over to TikTok, where she flashed her left ring finger, showcasing her new diamond engagement ring. “Here’s a plot twist!!!!!” she wrote.
The next day, Kizzi posted an explainer on her since-expired Instagram Stories, which The Daily Dish thankfully captured. As she detailed, “Literally straight after the season I went to see [Tom, and] we spoke about everrryyyyything. 1 year later & we’re engaged.”
Where does Kizzi stand with Joe Bradley and Victoria SanJuan today?
During the crew’s last night out on Below Deck Med, Joe desperately wanted to hook up with Kizzi. But after their final kiss, Kizzi saw the light and went to bed, leaving Joe to sort out his horniness on his own. The next morning, as the crew said their goodbyes, Joe, V, and Kizzi all walked (separately) off the yacht, forever putting an end to this messy Season 10 love triangle.
So, where do these three characters stand today? Well, let’s start with V. I actually spoke with V last December, and I asked her this very question. Regarding Joe, she answered, “I would say that Joe and I are cordial, but I definitely don’t trust that man at all.
As for her relationship with Kizzi, V admitted that Kizzi is “one of those people that I won’t ever trust again.” However, unlike Joe, Kizzi is “watching the episodes,” and then apologizing, V revealed, shockingly adding, “She’s actually the person I talk to the most. I’m really excited for her. I wish her and Tom the best.”
So, what about Kizzi and Joe? Well, as Joe recently shared with The Daily Dish, he and Kizzi still chat here and there. As he explained, “We’re still in contact. We sometimes message each other and laugh about the hate comments we get. People are very passionate!”
