Kim Kardashian has finally spoken out about the drama surrounding photos of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at her mom’s birthday party last year. She said it was a “ridiculous” rumor that Kris Jenner deleted photos of the royal pair over a lack of permission, and instead said the real reason was more innocent.

This week, Kim joined Khloé Kardashian on her Khloé In Wonder Land podcast. During the chat, Kim explained why the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were at Kris’ bash. And she also spilled the reason why photos of them were deleted from Instagram.
“Mom and Meghan have been friends for some years now,” Kim began. “They have a really sweet relationship.”
“We were told that it was totally cool to post. And then after it was posted, I think they realized it was Remembrance Day. And they didn’t want to be seen at a party,” she went on. “So we took them down to respect Remembrance Day.”
Next, Kim commented on claims that the photos were deleted due to a lack of permission from the royal duo. “You’ve got to laugh at the situation sometimes,” she said. “Everyone’s taking it the wrong way.”
“I hated how that was received for everyone,” Kim continued. “That sucks. It was just made into something that was so crazy and ridiculous that just didn’t have to be.”
In case you missed it, Harry and Meghan made headlines when they attended Kris’ 70th birthday party on November 8 last year. They were photographed arriving hand-in-hand at the celebration, held at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s mansion in Beverly Hills.
