Erika Kirk’s demeanor shortly after her husband’s death has many scratching their heads. Charlie Kirk was assassinated at a rally in Utah on September 10. Six days later, his widow was on a video call that recently leaked.
While she acknowledged being heartbroken about what occurred later, she was also seen giggling and smiling in the video. It appears to be painting the mother of two in a negative light once again.

There’s more hate being flung at Erika in the aftermath of Charlie’s death. Political commentator and podcaster Candace Owens shared the video of Erika online, which has been characterized as very “strange.”
Her laughter in the video is very off-putting for many, given how soon it happened after Charlie’s death. She can be heard discussing the success of Turning Point USA (TPUSA), Charlie’s political activist group. Erika notes the success of their events and the strong sales of associated merchandise. That seems to be the primary focus rather than Charlie’s assassination.
It’s far from the first time people have been left puzzled by Erika. Last week, she was labelled fame-hungry after an audition video featuring her and ex-boyfriend JT Massey surfaced. The two were trying out for The Amazing Race. In the video, she mentions how sex sells, something off-putting for people given her religious beliefs and conservative image. She also took heat recently for including an alleged pedophile pastor in her Ongoing Faith tour.
Since Charlie’s death, Erika has been in the news daily, with her every move followed and her past dug up. She accepted the Medal of Freedom in October, which was given to her late husband by Donald Trump. Erika currently serves as the CEO for TPUSA.
