TPUSA Gets Kid Rock to Headline Alternate ‘All-American Halftime Show’

Turning Point USA has announced the lineup for its “All-American Halftime Show,” with Kid Rock set to headline the show. The event will also feature performances from Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice, and Gabby Barrett.

Kid Rock will headline TPUSA’s halftime show

Late conservative activist Charlie Kirk’s foundation, Turning Point, announced in October that they will arrange an alternative halftime show. The event is staged as a protest against the NFL’s decision to name Bad Bunny as the headlining artist at the Super Bowl Halftime Show. The organization has now chosen Kid Rock, a long-time right-wing Trump ally, to compete with the Puerto Rican star.

Shortly after TPUSA’s halftime show lineup was released, Kid Rock shared a statement to Fox News. “We’re approaching this show like David and Goliath,” he said. The singer continued, “Competing with the pro football machine and a global pop superstar is almost impossible … or is it?”

Kid Rock also took a direct aim at Bad Bunny’s upcoming performance. “He’s said he’s having a dance party, wearing a dress, and singing in Spanish? Cool,” the singer said. “We plan to play great songs for folks who love America.”

The Turning Point USA’s halftime show will stream on multiple conservative networks in response to the NFL Halftime Show. Introducing the event, Turning Point spokesman Andrew Kolvet released an official statement. “The All-American Halftime Show is an opportunity for all Americans to enjoy a halftime show with no agenda other than to celebrate faith, family, and freedom,” he said.

The lineup also includes country music singers Brantley Gilbert and Lee Brice. Gilbert’s notable tracks include “Dirt Road Anthem” and “Bottoms Up,” while Brice has released songs like “One of Them Girls” and “Rumor.” Also performing is Gabby Barrett, whose hit single “I Hope” featuring Charlie Puth earned the Billboard Music Awards for Top Country Song in 2021.

Meanwhile, Bad Bunny is gearing up to perform at the Super Bowl LX halftime show on February 8, 2026. The Puerto Rican rapper recently won the Album of the Year for Debí Tirar Más Fotos at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards.
