There are still a handful of episodes left in The Traitors Season 4, but rumor has it that the producers are already looking ahead to the future. Season 5 has already been greenlit by Peacock, with casting underway. However, insiders claim that the showrunners are putting plans in motion for Season 6, and allegedly, it’s shaping up to be an all-star season.
The Traitors producers are hoping Season 6 of the US series will be All Stars
According to a report from The US Sun, The Traitors producers feel so bullish about the show’s success that they’re working on assembling the most talked-about players for the biggest game yet.
“Traitors production are actively casting for Season 5 and putting the finishing touches on that cast,” their source claimed. “But they’re also already assembling an All-Star cast for the following year, Season 6, which will be the first time the show’s ever done that.”
Allegedly, the show’s producers believe five seasons is the magic number to tee up an all-star season. They’ll have a significant roster of talent to choose from and can keep the show’s momentum alive.
“They want to keep the show fresh and exciting even for people who watch year after year,” the source added. “An all-star season heightens the stakes and adds an entirely new dynamic to the formula.”
This insider went on to list a few names rumored to have been tossed around in the casting conversations. Among them are a few winners, like Season 1’s Cirie Fields and some of Season 3’s Faithful winners, Dylan Efron and Gabby Windey.
There are also a few iconic Traitors allegedly in the mix, like Phaedra Parks and Bob the Drag Queen. The source said they’re also looking at Lisa Rinna and Rob Rausch from Season 4, which is currently airing.
Of course, we’re taking this with a giant grain of salt until we hear something official from NBC and Peacock. But, if this is true, we’re going to be in for some iconic television. The Emmy is practically already theirs.
