The deadline for Nancy Guthrie’s ransom, which was Monday, February 9, 7 p.m. ET, given by the alleged kidnappers through a note, has now passed. The ransom amount was reportedly $6 million. The alleged kidnappers of the Today co-anchor, Savannah Guthrie’s 84-year-old mother, reportedly claimed that they have the victim, who vanished from her home in Arizona over a week ago, under their hold.

The $6 million ransom deadline of February 9, 7 p.m. ET, given by Nancy Guthrie’s alleged kidnappers on a note, has passed. Per the New York Post, there is no sign of the payment of the ransom money as of now. On the same day, the victim’s daughter, the well-known NBC journalist, Savannah Guthrie, took to Instagram to share a pleading message for people all around the world. She dropped the video just three hours ahead of the ransom deadline. In the caption of the post, the co-anchor of Today penned, “please. bring her home. we need you. she needs you. all of you.”

In the Instagram video, Savannah Guthrie said, “I wanted to come on and just share a few thoughts as we enter into another week of this nightmare.” The journalist then went on to express her gratitude to everyone for their “prayers and the love.” She then revealed, “We believe our mom is still out there.” She further gave a message of request to everybody.

Guthrie’s daughter further said, “I’m coming on just to ask you not just for your prayers.” She continued, “But no matter where you are — even if you’re far from Tucson — if you see anything, if you hear anything.” Shen then added, “If there’s anything at all that seems strange to you, that you report to law enforcement.” “We are at an hour of desperation and we need your help,” the Today co-anchor also expressed. Fans have been showering the comments section with support and prayers for Nancy Guthrie and her family.
