Love Is Blind Season 10 Cast Member Accused of Sexual Assault; Responds With Lawsuit

Season 10 of Love Is Blind has taken an unfortunate turn. Steven Sunday, one of the 32 Ohioans who entered the pods, was accused of sexual assault by a woman online. He claims it was consensual, and he just responded to her with a massive defamation lawsuit.

Netflix dropped the first batch of episodes of Love Is Blind Season 10 on February 11. The day before the premiere, Steven went to court and filed a massive lawsuit against a woman named Elisha Watts. The Columbus Dispatch first broke the story.

According to the lawsuit, Elisha went on social media immediately after Netflix announced the Season 10 Love Is Blind cast and accused Steven of sexually assaulting her. She said it happened in May 2025 at her Columbus apartment. She went on to share multiple posts across Instagram and TikTok, detailing how he recorded their encounter without her consent.

According to the lawsuit, Elisha accused Steven of being a “sexual predator” and used emojis to suggest the word “rapist.” She also claimed to have spoken to other unnamed victims who accused Steven of “going around Columbus … attempting or succeeding in roofie-ing women and recording everything.”

In Steven’s lawsuit, he admitted to having a recorded sexual encounter with Elisha. However, he insisted that their interactions were consensual. He went on to call Elisha’s claims “unequivocally false.”

Steven’s lawyers want to prove Elisha acted with malicious intent by referencing a handful of her social media posts. For example, in one post shared ahead of the Season 10 premiere, Elisha encouraged people to spread her accusations “so we can reach as many people as possible before the show comes out.” His lawyers said this was part of her “calculated measures” to cause irreparable damage.

The lawsuit goes on to detail how Elisha’s accusations have caused Steven a significant loss of income. He said Netflix won’t let him do promotional activities for Love Is Blind. His real-life job at an insurance agency suspended him, too.

With all of that in mind, Steven is seeking monetary damages, and most of all, he wants Elisha to stop posting about him.

Love Is Blind is streaming on Netflix.
