Jessica Alba is stepping into a new chapter with intention and optimism. Just days after her ex-husband, Cash Warren, filed paperwork to finalize their divorce, the actor and entrepreneur shared a reflective message about growth, change, and “forward momentum.” Marking the Lunar New Year on social media, Alba also offered followers a glimpse into her mindset after what she described as a year of transformation.

Jessica Alba welcomes Year of the Horse ‘feeling ready, grounded and grateful’ after divorce

In an Instagram post shared Tuesday, Jessica Alba reflected on the symbolic shift from the Year of the Snake to the Year of the Horse. “Entering the Year of the Horse feeling ready, grounded and grateful for where I stand,” she wrote, adding that she appreciates “the path that led me here” and what is still ahead.

Moreover, the 44-year-old described the previous year as one centered on release and self-examination. “The past year… was all about shedding and releasing what no longer serves. Facing hard truths. Making meaningful changes,” she wrote. Though she did not explicitly tie the statement to her divorce, the timing has drawn attention from fans.

As per PEOPLE, Warren reportedly filed documents seeking final court approval on Friday. According to the outlet’s report, the divorce is uncontested, and neither Alba nor Warren is expected to pay spousal support. The former couple, who married in 2008 after meeting on the set of “Fantastic Four” in 2004, share three children: Honor, 17, Haven, 14, and Hayes, 8. They announced their separation in 2024, and Alba filed for divorce in early 2025.

In her Lunar New Year’s message, the actor encouraged action and courage. She wrote that the Year of the Horse represents forward movement and trusting the journey ahead. “It doesn’t need to be perfect just start what you’ve been sitting with for so long – that inner knowing,” she added.

Outside of her personal reflections, Alba has also been seen embracing new beginnings in her private life. She was recently photographed in Miami Beach with actor Danny Ramirez, 33, three days after Warren’s filing. The two were first romantically linked in mid-2025, with a source previously claiming they were “having a good time together.”

For now, Alba appears focused on growth, family, and stepping confidently into what she calls her “moment.” As she put it simply, “Year of the Horse, I’m ready.”
