Many famous faces have appeared in the millions of files released by the Department of Justice in relation to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. These include tech billionaires, politicians, and even a prince. Supermodel Naomi Campbell also appears in the files hundreds of times. This has drawn a spotlight on her connection to the late financier.

Analysis of the Epstein files appears to show a two-decade friendship between Naomi and Epstein. During this relationship, the convicted pedophile and supermodel spoke on the phone, met in person, and invited each other to social gatherings, according to the documents.
Per the files, Naomi invited Epstein to her 2004 birthday party in St Tropez. She later extended an invite to an anniversary party in Paris to mark her collaboration with Dolce & Gabbana. Some of Naomi’s invites were sent after Epstein was released from jail for pleading guilty to soliciting a minor.
Elsewhere in the files, an email between an unnamed person and Epstein discusses Naomi’s use of his private plane. Furthermore, her name was featured on a document called “List of People Who Need JE’s Address.” It details information on how to correspond with Epstein in prison.
While inclusion in the files is not an indication of wrongdoing, Naomi’s representative defended her earlier this week. “Prior to Epstein’s 2019 arrest in New York, my client knew nothing about his appalling criminal conduct,” said attorney Martin Singer. He added that if Naomi “ever encountered” someone being “victimized” she would have taken “immediate action” to help.
For her part, Naomi previously criticized Epstein, calling his actions “indefensible” on her YouTube channel in 2019. “When I had heard what he had done, it sickened me to my stomach,” she said. “Right now, I stand with the victims.”
