If there’s one thing The Valley: Persian Style star Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi has never been good at, it’s pretending.
So, as she’s been watching the debut season back and realized someone in her circle had been quietly taking shots at her from day one, the betrayal didn’t come with screaming or table‑flipping. It came with something colder: clarity.
And according to GG, the person she trusted most turned out to be the most “two‑faced.” Here’s what she had to say in our exclusive sit-down.
GG says watching The Valley: Persian Style back has changed everything

For GG, seeing the episodes air wasn’t just entertaining — it was revealing.
She explained that nothing about filming felt fake or forced in the moment. But the confessionals? That’s where things hit different.
“I do feel like Sky [Askari] is the most two-faced because I never knew this girl had problems with me from day one. Like, I’m watching it back and every chance she got, she was throwing shots at me. You know, I was like, wow, she really hated me. Like, I didn’t know this.”
It wasn’t just petty shade either. GG said she genuinely had no idea there was tension. That made the discovery sting even more.
“It’s called a storyline. You have to ride your coattails, right, to get to be part of the narrative. Yeah, like, where did you come from all of a sudden?”
For someone who prides herself on being direct, the behind‑the‑back energy clearly doesn’t sit well.
There’s a friendship line GG is no longer willing to cross

While the cast drama is messy, GG says the situation with Dennis DeSantis hits deeper — because it’s personal and business.
The two share a long history, but this season forces them to confront some hard truths about what can — and can’t — be repaired.
“Dennis, Dennis, Dennis. He’s just a big ball of emotions and sensitivity. So I think I’m really good at knowing how to push his buttons and also know how to calm him down. We’ve known each other well over a decade. We’re very close.”
Still, she admits the fallout permanently changed things.
“It was very hard for me to come back from that. But once I did, I was ready to move on with the business. We will never be back to that relationship dynamic that we once were as friends because I do feel there’s a very shaky part of me that was always going to like question, what’s he going to do next?”
Then, she put it bluntly: “Friends are off limits. Friends are off limits. Like you don’t f*ck each other’s friends.”
What was the hardest part of filming The Valley: Persian Style for GG?

Ironically, GG says the only time the cameras actually affected her behavior was during their business negotiations.
“I feel like the only time I ever felt like I really had to keep myself in check was having that business conversation with Dennis on camera.”
She described trying to stay calm while he kept dragging their personal history into a professional meeting.
“I really tried hard to keep my cool and stay calm in that office because he did keep wanting to bring up our personal dynamic and our relationship … so I just kept like breathing.”
Thankfully, she had backup.
“Thank God Amir [Boroumand] was there because he has this amazing energy about him … I was able to kind of pick up on his energy and just sit through it.”
And the result? “We have a great business contract now signed dotted sealed perfect.”
Classic GG: chaos handled, paperwork locked.
Is reality TV newbie and The Valley: Persian Style cast member Reza “RJ” Jackson enjoying fame too much?

Of course, not all the drama is emotional. Some of it is just ego.
When asked who might be letting fame get to their head this season, GG didn’t hesitate.
“I’ll tell you this though. Even like before the show aired, it was RJ. RJ already thinks he’s famous. Like RJ was born thinking he’s famous.”
No explanation needed. Just GG doing what she does best: calling it exactly how she sees it.
New episodes of The Valley: Persian Style are available to stream on Hayu in Canada, the UK, and Ireland, along with the full series and past GG Shahs of Sunset seasons on demand.
