Colton Underwood Addresses Theory He Knew Rob Rausch Was a Traitor

Colton Underwood and Rob Rausch were friends on Season 4 of The Traitors, but friendship wasn’t enough to save Colton. In Episode 8, Rob, with the help of his fellow Traitor Candiace Dillard Bassett, murdered Colton, ending his shot at victory. Colton was suspicious of confirmed Traitors Candiace and Lisa Rinna, but fans thought he was oblivious to Rob’s secret persona. However, the former Bachelor recently revealed he had an inkling that Rob was playing for the dark side. Here’s what you need to know.

Rob Rausch’s dagger play confused Colton Underwood on The Traitors Season 4

During a February 24 appearance on Harry Jowsey’s podcast Boyfriend Material, Colton said Rob did two things that made him suspicious.

“In my notebook, I had two notes on Rob. One was the Candiace vote,” he shared. “The other thing that didn’t sit well with me with Rob was the dagger play. It didn’t make sense…I was like, ‘Why is he telling all of us?’ Statistically speaking, one of us has to be a Traitor….He did it for coverage.”

Colton said that if he stuck around, he may have figured out Rob’s game.

“If I would’ve lasted one more episode, I think I would have started to say his name,” he revealed.

Despite his suspicious, Colton told Harry he thinks Rob is playing a “brilliant” game.

“He’s playing a borderline genius game,” he said. “And I think there’s a lot of online talk right now. And I’ve seen some things that they just aren’t giving him enough credit. He’s playing brilliantly. There was only so much that the faithful can do.”

The Traitors airs new episodes on Thursdays at 9/8c on Peacock.
