Considering this, Savannah missed the 2026 Winter Olympics. She had been originally slated to co-host the opening ceremonies from Italy. There is an update on her status when it comes to the Today Show.

We haven’t seen the last of Savannah on the Today Show. She visited the NBC set this week, an undoubtedly emotional moment for everyone. On Today with Jenna & Sheinelle, her return was discussed on-air. Co-host Jenna Bush Hager says that Savannah “has the intention to return to the show.”
While her world has been turned upside down since her mother’s disappearance, Jenna says that she knows the show is also home to her. This story has been relevant for weeks, while those working on the show have been struggling throughout the ordeal.
For her part, Savannah has been pleading desperately for someone to come forward and share details about Nancy’s disappearance. In February, she offered a $1 million reward for information about this case. Since then, countless tips have reportedly been submitted to the FBI.
