The Ladies of London are off and running. It only took two episodes in Season 4 for accusations to go flying and for a member of the cast to quit. It was quite a dramatic premiere, and Dara Huang has officially left the group chat.
Ladies of London: The New Reign got off to an explosive start
ICYMI, the premiere of the new Ladies of London started with a bang. Rumors already swirled among the ladies, including whispers of Dara being a madame and her saying some unfavorable things about her supposed bestie, Myka Meier.
In either case, the accusations that she disparaged her good friend Myka came to bite her in the behind. During the dinner hosted for the cast at London’s Ivy Asia, Missè Bequiri decided to confront Dara face-to-face.
She told everyone about the things she said to Myka’s despair. Dara denied everything point-blank but was obviously uncomfortable. She stepped away from the table, but her mic caught her confessing that she did say those things about Myka.
“I don’t think I’m made for this, babe,” Dara said. “I’m not made for this. This is not me. Like, I love Myka, but she doesn’t have, like, my experience being thrown under a bus. I did say those things.”
Eventually, she went back to the table, but the ladies wouldn’t let it go. Dara eventually said “cut” thrice when things heated up, followed by her seemingly leaving the show.
“Um, I think I need to probably step out of, I think, being on this TV show,” Dara stated. “I’m really sorry to disappoint everybody, but I just, I just don’t think this is for me, you know? This is not for me.”
A graphic then appeared that said, “Dara decided to leave the friend group.”
Wow, what a way to start the season!
